Job Description • Availability of switch and Other Switching Network Element. Daily monitoring of CP and SP. Daily monitoring of Time Switch. Completion of Size Alterations of different blocks as per requirements.

• To ensure ASR as per QMS Guidelines. Daily montioring and review of Traffic reports. Interaction with performance team for low ASR routes. Interaction with BSNL/. MTNL and other operators.

• Montioring of daily NOC reports. Upgradation for optimising utilisation.

• MTTR as per QMS. Clearence of Faults in coordination with NOC and TACNNOC. Availability of spare cards at switch location.

• Execution of Service Orders. Prompt retrieval of SOs from Clarity, execution and closure of SOs in Clarity.

• ASR target of routes. Daily monitoring of traffic reports & analysing low ASR routes

• Achivement of circle quality objectives. Execution of work as per defined QMS procedure such as IR/FAR, Plan Event etc.

• Co-ordination for provisioning of Verint no's. Promt provisioning of no's

• NGN related issues. POI augmentation. Escalated issues related to ILT/ NGN/ VOIP/ VOATM/ POTS/ Centrex/ PRI/ level issues.

• Identifying Training needs of Switch Engineers and its scheduling in consultation with NHQ Training Centre.



Desired Profile • Skills: Strong Analytical skill to diagnose the fault, Skill to analyse the traffic data, Good interpersonal Skills & Communication, Hard Working , Team Player, Aptitude to have technical updates. Experience in Switches (Ericsson and Lucent NGN), monitoring equipments.

• Knowledge required : Fundamentals of Telecom, Fundamentals of Digital Switching, Signaling, routing & numbering plan, Knowledge of PRI, BRI, V5 & access networks, Knowledge of handling protocol analysers, Trouble shoot the call failures due to the issues of Signalling & Routing, Pots creation.
