Job Description
1. Responsible for review designs submitted by design consultants and finalize basic and detailed engineering designs.

2. Responsible for handover of final designs to execution team.

3. Responsible for finalization of equipment specifications and determination of packages.

4. Responsible for evaluation of bids and finalization of contracts (technical aspects).

5. Responsible for follow-up and coordination to ensure timely delivery of equipment as per schedule.

6. Responsible for suggesting modifications in design in response to unplanned exigencies during execution phase.

7. Ensure all statutory safety compliances built in to the designs.

8. Communicating with people outside the organization, representing the organization to contractors, vendors, customers and other external sources.

9. Identify and address training needs of team members.

10. Participation in HR issues like PMS, Career Planning, Manpower Planning.

Desired Profile
- Experience of Basic Design Engineering for Power Projects with exposure in all disciplines i.e. mechanical, electrical and civil.

- Field experience of Erection & Commissioning of power projects would be an added advantage.

- Experience in coordination and networking with contractors, clients and vendors
