Job Description
Providing a strategic direction to the design team, ensuring all design work is completed to the highest standard, inspiring creativity throughout all design work, proven ability to creatively manage options from styles to maximize width & depth of range. Knowledge of designing the range/styles as per the consumer understanding/ preferences/trends and the range architecture ( i.e. options, price points etc) , so as to ensure an integrated theme/story, responsible for research to develop seasonal design concepts and range planning across categories, product lines. Creating product manuals for staff training, advertising, briefing sales and retail team on new collection, ensuring that the design team is aware of latest trends & styles, overseeing the personal design of all team members, ensuring that working processes are efficient and adhered to by the design team, motivating design team, expanding and redefining new product categories through constant verification of market reality, develop new resources and set processes for smooth functioning.



Desired Candidate Profile
Candidates from (NIFT/ NID) with relevant experience in contemporary / ethnic, specifically in women wear designing (apparels) with thorough knowledge of various product categories in apparel, manufacturing processes and technical specifications, well versed with computer aided design and presentation softwares, The incumbent should possess excellent team building skills, excellent communication skills with a high level of task orientation with a proactive focus, ability to work independently and show high level of initiative with a “can do” attitude.
