Job DescriptionSummary:

Develops empirical formulas (mathematical models or scorecards) and other analytical tools used by organizations consumer businesses in the ongoing management of their customer portfolios.



Specific Responsibilities:

Work with GMRA PS-3 and business representatives to develop and assess long-term analytical plans for consumer portfolios and countries worldwide.

Identify business opportunities and problems, develop and execute solutions to exploit or overcome them.

Review all potential sources of data for analytical projects within organizations businesses.

Construct, “clean”, and audit analytical database requirements for specific projects.

Use sophisticated statistical techniques to develop scorecards, customer segmentation schemes, profiles, and other analytically based tools for customer asset and liability portfolio management

Assist PS-3 Area in the implementation of these tools in live operating environments within organizations businesses.

Train line and operating personnel in experimental design principles, data management, and tracking practices, model usage and problem detection

Assist organizations businesses in the ongoing management and validation of their scores and score-based strategies.

Keep abreast of developments in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research and other quantitative disciplines which might be applied to organizations businesses.

Create a knowledge base of scorecard development/analyses and business learnings which are used to develop future scores/analyses.



Desired Candidate ProfileTechnical:

Quantitative analysis and statistical modeling

Computer programming (e.g., SAS)

Financial analysis and modeling

Thorough understanding of score development principles and demonstrated proficiency in score development
