Job Description

a) Accounting and Finance

• To ensure correct and proper billing to respective customers in time and as per laid down procedures.

• To ensure correct collection of Cash & Collection Instruments (DD/cheques) accounting & Deposit of with Bank.

• Cash to be counted and tallied with Cash register daily without exception.

• Managing daily banking schedules with Bankers.

• Maintaining Petty Cash Record, Periodic disbursement of petty cash expenses.

• Periodic reconciliation of Bank Accounts and exception reporting to management.

• Periodic booking of Revenue & Expenditure from export/import activities and update books for payment received, follow-up for payment and ensuring collection of dues before release of Shipments.

• Knowledge of TDS & Service Tax.

b) MIS Reporting and Budgeting

• Daily reporting of Invoices raised, collections made.

• Daily reporting of Petty Cash account and ensure adequate balance is maintained.

• Periodic Reporting & Analysis of Collections, receivables and payables.

• Co-ordination with Head Office and assisting in periodic Audits and reviews.

• Dealing with CHAs to ensure that there is no discrepancy in the management of PDA accounts for timely revenue generation.

• To maintain proper records of Invoice Generated, Collection and Disbursement.

Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate with 1-3 years experience in handling Cash Counters will be preferable.
