Job Description
As a Solution Engineer you will be working in a global Center of Competence team with key competences in IP Networks and convergence core solutions. Your responsibility is the integration of customer requirements not covered by NSN standard blue-print solutions. This is accomplished

by integrating various networks and network elements, including 3rd party products to create a

complex and customized solution.



Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Realization

• Troubleshooting and isolation of failure cause

• Ongoing technical support of CSI Solutions

• Support of technical pre-sales activities like estimation of implementation tasks etc.

• Product evaluations and validations

• Liaises with Solution Architect, Technical Support, System Verification (COO), SPM, Project

manager and 3rd party product manager to align customer requirements with available generic

solutions, NSN products and 3rd party products

• Providing on-the-job-training for regional resources

Desired Profile
• Long experience in Systems Integration business

• Significant operational experience in either IT or Telco Operator environments

• Excellent knowledge in the following technology domains:

o IP Architecture

o Juniper products (JNCIA required, JNCIS preferred)

o Cisco products (certifications preferred)

o NSN core network products (e.g. Flexi ISN, PCS5000, etc.)

o Service Control architecture and products (e.g. Sandvine, Arbor/Ellacoya)

• Experience of customer specific solution architecture

• Experience in multi-vendor and multi-technology integration projects

• Experience of integration services and specific cost

• Strong knowledge of UNIX (Solaris, HP, Linux) and Windows operating systems
