Job Description

The Head of Finance & Accounts Dept. (HOD) will be responsible for all financial matters of the Organisation and its affiliate stakeholders. He will be reporting to the Managing Director (MD) /Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and will play a critical role in developing and implementing the business strategies for the organization.



He will be responsible for overseeing all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization, in conjunction with the board of directors and the finance, audit, and investment committees of the board. As a member of the senior leadership team, the HOD will be an advisor to the Functional Heads, evaluating and assisting them with their financial plans and economic modeling.



Desired Experience & Attributes:

# The HOD should be a seasoned CA/ CS/ CFA and/or MBA (finance) from a reputed institution and a mature leader with at least 16-23 years of broad finance experience in managing finance (accounting, budgeting, cash flows, controls and reporting) for a multiple location organization through multiple funding sources.

# He should have 3-5 years experience as HOD or equivalent for an organization having turnover more than 100 Cr. preferably in an IT product company.

# He should have deep knowledge and understanding of the Management accounting, Accounts, Secretarial /Company Law and legal matters, IPO management, Overseas Accounts, Insurance, Budget Controls and Audit.

# He should have excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated leadership ability, team management, interpersonal skills and excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills.
